Viking Seax Class
As part of the 2-day Viking Seax Class, students will learn how to take a stock of high-carbon steel and forge it to shape, then grind and heat-treat into a hidden-tang seax.
Day 1: Forge high carbon steel into shape, grind and heat-treat into hidden-tang seax.
Duration: Approximately 8 hours with lunch break
Day 2: Finish grinding, handle prep, glue and shape.
Skill level: Beginner-Moderate
Duration: Approximately two 6- 8 hour days with lunch break.
