Puukko/Hunter/Pairing Knife Class-January 19th

In the Northstar Forge workshop, students will make an approximately 3-inch blade, known as a Puukko – a small traditional Finnish general purpose belt knife, great for hunting, camping, carving, pairing and as an all-around utility knife. Students will forge the high-carbon steel blade to shape, grind, heat-treat, handle and finish. Bring a lunch or check out one of the local places to eat.
Class begins: 9 a.m.
Duration: Approx. 8 hours (one hour lunch)
