Learn the basics of bladesmithing by forging 1084 high-carbon steel stock into a full-tang utility knife. Students will learn to forge, heat treat and grind the blade.  Finish with a wrapped paracord handle or come back to learn how to make a full-tang wood or synthetic handle.

Upon completion, students can enhance their skills and their knife by signing up for a future handle class and/or a leather sheath-making class. Classes sold separately. Ask your instructor for details.
